Meet Chloe

ADOPT ME!

Chloe is a young (9 months) brindle pit mix.
She is waiting for her forever home, in foster care, in San Francisco.
She is a special, sensitive, and athletic girl.
She currently lives with a slightly older male pittie.

Chloe was originally a stray, living and hiding in a park in SF.
A kind Animal Control Officer spent many days trying to coax her out and catch her to take her into the city shelter where she would have a chance at a better life.
She was very scared, emaciated, and covered in cuts when she was brought in.

But... Today she is doing much better as you can see.
Miss Chloe is happy and healthy and waiting for her forever home.

Chloe lives with the veteran foster big brother and pittie, Mister Guy. She has gained weight and eats like a champ.

They get along very well, but she understands that it is only temporary for now.

One of Chloe's favorite things in her new life is playing fetch.
She specifically loves to chase after pine cones in the Golden Gate Park near her new home.

Chloe waits patiently for the chase.

Chloe is very fast, and will return the pine cone every time, unless she gets distracted by one of her other favorite things.....

....some nice tall fresh grass.

Chloe loves chewing on fresh grass (I think she learned it from Guy).

Chloe shows off her sitting skills in the Golden Gate Park in the early morning sun.

How could you not love this face?

At home, Chloe is a good girl.. she likes to play with her foster brother, or chew on some raw hide, or sleep in her crate.

Otherwise, she likes to hang out near by her person.

Though we don't know what happened to Chloe in her early life, it is obvious she had a rough start. She is a bit skittish and shy in new situations and would prefer to live in a quieter home with a patient and gentle owner. She is great with other dogs and would love a doggie companion in her home. She is also athletic, and loves to run, so would definitely like to be able to continue to run and play fetch and get lots of vigorous exercise. It makes her happy.

She is crate trained and house broken.

She doesn't mind going for rides in the car, as long as she can curl up on the floor in the passenger's side.
